After the Design Department of the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Science had already successfully presented itself at the previous Euroshop trade fairs, the students were again given the task of developing a trade fair stand for Euroshop 2023. This year's unique task: The area was not to be a classic trade fair stand. The aim was to create a space for exchange and a break at the trade fair to encourage communication and a change of perspective.
The students were divided into seven groups with different task focuses: Game Function, Game Content, Public Relations, Metaverse, Master Studio, Architecture, Graphic Design and Light.
Under the direction of professors Sabine Krieg and Bernhard Franken, the students succeeded in developing the "fortytwo" trade fair stand and the accompanying "The Retail Ball Game".
